Introduction to Incident Command System
This is a free online training provided by FEMA. The training lasts approximately three hours. It gives an overview of the working system Emergency First Responders will use in a disaster. The course describes the history, features and principles, and organizational structure of the Incident Command System. It also explains the relationship between ICS and the National Incident Management System (NIMS). This link provides access to the online course, class materials, and final exam.
