Top 10 Endangered Artifacts Projects

The Virginia and Pennsylvania Connecting to Collections Statewide Implementation Grants have successfully launched Top 10 Endangered Artifacts programs to raise public awareness about the care of collections in their states. Christina Newton, program director, Virginia Collections Initiative, Virginia Association of Museums will provide an update on the completion of their 2011 and 2012 programs and the start of their 2013 program. Ingrid E. Bogel, executive director, Conservation Center for Art and
Historic Artifacts will discuss Pennsylvania’s new initiative and describe additional activities they are undertaking such as assisting the selected sites with crowdsourced fundraising.

To make participation easy, there will be no registration required. At the time of each event, simply go to http://learningtimesevents.org/c2cexchange/, click on Access Meeting Room under the program title, and enter your name and location. C2C recommends that you run a Tech Check to ensure that the webinar software will launch correctly on your computer.
